Sam y Tusker han pasado veinte años juntos, y están tan enamorados como siempre. Pero en los dos últimos años, desde que Tusker, es diagnosticado de demencia prematura, sus vidas han cambiado. Al llegar el otoño comienzan un viaje por carretera para reencontrarse con sus amigos y familiares y visitar los lugares de su pasado. A medida que su viaje avanza, comienzan sus diferencias al abordar sus planes de futuro. Se descubren secretos, se desentrañan planes privados y se pone a prueba su amor como nunca antes.

Sam and Tusker have spent twenty years together, and they are as passionately in love as they have ever been.
